Circles for girls and adolescents

Service Description

2-hour online weekly sessions during 8-10 weeks. A structured support group for girls and gender-broad youth ages 8 - 19 that integrates relational theory, resilience practices, and skills training. Designed to increase positive connection, strengths and competence. Themes: Friendship; being a girl; body image; honoring diversity; body, mind and spirit; expressing my individuality; relationships with peers; who I am; paths towards the future; wise and well; my family, my self; empowerment and identity on social media; all together rising for youth-at-risk; sex in the digital age; mitigating racial and gender prejudices; we also offer the Mother-Daughter Circle model, for mothers or caregivers and their daughters.
